POURVOIRIE HOMAMO: where wilderness and adventure truly let you disconnect!

Pourvoirie Homamo

Vast territory of forests, lakes, and rivers

POURVOIRIE HOMAMO is a little corner of paradise that was once accessible only by floatplane and is filled with large native brook trout. Since 2006, the outfitter’s fishing and hunting territory is now reachable by car. In winter, after reaching the parking area, guests travel between 15 and 25 km by dog sled or snowmobile (depending on the package) to arrive at the site. Some even choose to cross-country ski in!

This one-of-a-kind expedition in Québec gives you access to an exclusive 129 km2 hunting and fishing territory, with over 45 lakes and 3 magnificent rivers! Currently, 15 lakes are actively fished, and new lakes are opened each year—pure, wild, and full of fish.

Renowned as one of the best brook trout fishing destinations in the province, POURVOIRIE HOMAMO impresses even the most seasoned anglers. Trout arrive in massive numbers through its rivers and spawning grounds, reaching Lac Itomamo and its many headwater lakes! These high-quality trout are also impressively large—a record catch of 9¾ pounds was recorded in 2009!
