Drive Your Own Dog Sled

With the help of an experienced guide, you’ll learn how to drive your own dog sled. But if you’d rather enjoy the ride in comfort, that’s also an option!

In the sled, one adult or two children can sit while the driver steers the sled using reins to guide the dogs. At times, you may need to push the sled from the sides to steer it or run behind while pushing with one leg.

Your guide will teach you the tips and techniques of a musher (sled driver), and you’ll pick it up quickly!

To stay comfortable during this cold-weather adventure, you’ll need to dress appropriately for Quebec’s winter temperatures.

A winter coat, insulated winter boots, warm socks, thermal base layers, mittens, a hat, a scarf or neck warmer, and insulated snow pants are essential!
