Fishing Season

The fishing season runs from June 1 to September 12 (dates may vary slightly). Guests may arrive at the outfitter as of 2:00 PM; departures must take place between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Due to site maintenance, fishing is not permitted on the day of departure. However, you can begin fishing upon arrival.

Upon arrival, our courteous staff will greet you at reception, guide you in choosing your preferred small lakes, and escort you to your cabin. All cabins include rowboats with motors and fuel provided.

You may fish in Lac Itomamo at any time without a reservation, as well as in the Rivière aux Sables at the outfitter’s entrance, in the Maria River, and various other tributaries and outflows.

There is no off-season, as trout activity increases in rivers from mid-July onward. Our fishing outfitter becomes a paradise for fly fishers in August, when water levels are low and river pools are more accessible!
