Outdoor Activities at the Outfitter

Fishing & Hunting

On our expansive territory, you’ll find over 15 trout fishing and large hunting zones for moose and black bear. Our beautiful log cabins (accommodating up to 10 people) will charm you, and the services included in your package will allow you to enjoy the best vacation of your life!

Water Activities

With the many lakes scattered across the outfitter’s land, you can enjoy several water-based activities. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and rowboats are available on-site. Use them for fishing, hunting patrols, or to explore rivers with natural pools, rapids, or waterfalls!

River Descent & Wilderness Camping

Available upon request, our River Descent & Wilderness Camping package (with or without cabin lodging) allows you to gently paddle along a clear-bottomed river surrounded by tall trees, leading you to the lake in a canoe or kayak. You can also explore other rivers—either at wild or prepared sites. Ask us about this ideal package for nature lovers!

Hiking & Wildlife Observation

With 150 km of marked trails, you can hike through forests and observe the wildlife and flora of the Lac-Saint-Jean region. Animals you may encounter include caribou, martens, beavers, porcupines, otters, foxes, ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, snowshoe hares, minks, muskrats, moose, and even black bears!

These well-maintained trails include bridges and lead to lakes, rivers, waterfalls, rapids, mountains, and a variety of natural habitats waiting to be discovered.

A birdwatching observatory will allow you to spot species such as the great blue heron, falcon, great horned owl, bald eagle, hawk, snowy owl, duck, and owl. Amateur and professional photographers alike will be thrilled!

Wild Blueberry & Mushroom Picking

While exploring the trails, you can find patches of wild blueberries and edible mushrooms, especially in August. Enjoy your harvest on-site or take it home to make pies or jam! We’ll help guide you to the best spots on the outfitter’s territory.
