Our 129 km² territory is a dreamland for all hunters! Our forests, scattered with lakes and rivers, are home to a healthy population of moose and black bears. With us, you’ll discover a territory that remains truly wild.

Moose Hunting

Each moose hunting sector averages 10 km², with blinds and lookout towers available to cover your hunting zone. You’ll stay in cabins with full bathrooms and all the equipment needed to prepare your meals.

Salt licks are carefully prepared and logged. Some untouched sectors include 8- to 15-year-old cutovers, resting sites, breeding areas, and shaded zones that are highly favorable for hunting.

Out of respect for future hunters, once your game is harvested, your assigned territory becomes unavailable for further hunting.

Note: Before hunting begins, each guest must sign the "Resource Management and Ethics Policy" — a formal commitment to respect specific hunting conditions.

Black Bear Hunting

We offer a hunting experience like no other! For your bear hunt, you get access to the entire 129 km² of outfitter territory, including forest, lakes, and rivers. A minimum of 2 hunters per trip is required for bear hunting.

We provide: Bait, Cameras, ATVs and Rowboats with motors. We can assist you as needed or let you explore the territory independently. Just bring your rifles!!

Note: Before hunting begins, each guest must sign the "Resource Management and Ethics Policy" and must complete a live fire practice session to confirm firearm accuracy.

What to Bring for Your Hunting Trip

For your moose or bear hunting trip at our outfitter in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, you must bring your own bedding (sleeping bag, sheets, pillows, and pillowcases), towels, food, drinking water (or a filtration system), and beverages.

Also remember to bring paper towels, bags for wrapping meat (if needed), life jackets, fishing rods and lures (if you wish to fish). Don’t forget your firearms, crossbows, or bows (during hunting season only), and your fishing and/or hunting license. You must also bring your own fuel to use the motorboats and ATVs.

New: Cold Storage Room

A refrigerated cold room is available to safely store your harvested game at an ideal temperature. It can hold up to 2 moose and is located at the main site. $35/day

Vehicles & Boats Provided

We provide access to canoes and boats, with or without motors. Gas is at your expense (for moose hunting). These help you access more remote parts of the territory. These are included in your package, but you are responsible for any damage.

We also loan trailers, a portable winch, moose sleds, and other gear to assist with retrieving game (except ATVs). You only pay for fuel consumed.

What to Expect During Your Hunting Stay

Moose Hunting Schedule

Arrivals are from 2:00 p.m. (please call us once you pass the ZEC gate to let us know you’ve arrived).

No arrivals are allowed after 7:00 p.m.

Departure is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Zone 28 – Topo maps 22E01 and part of 22E02. You can view them on the Avenza Map app. A general map and a map of your hunting area are available for free. Be sure to download them before arriving at the outfitter.

The outfitter’s territory covers 129 km². It’s a dream location, mostly undeveloped. The forests, dotted with many lakes and rivers, are home to a large moose population. You’ll be able to hunt on 10 km² of land (8 hunting areas available) and harvest one moose per hunting package.

You are allowed to scout the territory before your hunt. We offer a special rate for overnight stays during your familiarization visits (subject to availability). No scouting is allowed after September 1.

Black Bear Hunting Schedule

Departure is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. *No hunting or fishing is allowed on the morning of departure.

You will have access to the ENTIRE TERRITORY—129 km² of hunting grounds—exclusively for your group (minimum 2 hunters).

Black bear hunting at POURVOIRIE HOMAMO only began in 2012. Hunting sites are baited daily at specific times.

A shooting session is mandatory before the hunt.

Fishing is included in your package.

Small Game Hunting

Small game hunting has never been previously exploited on the outfitter’s territory, so ruffed grouse, spruce grouse, and snowshoe hares are plentiful! We began offering small game hunting in 2023.

One group per hunting week (you’ll have exclusive access to the entire territory for your group).

One ATV is provided for every two hunters (fuel not included).
