Rules of Conduct for Anglers
- NO CATCH AND RELEASE (VIOLATION WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION)
- Maximum quota of 20 trout in possession.
- To access the smaller lakes, you must make a reservation at the reception. Once a lake is assigned to you:
- In the morning: you must return the ATV or rowboat by 1:00 p.m.
- In the afternoon: you may use the ATV or rowboat starting at 2:00 p.m.
- A 12-liter gasoline can is included with your stay for the main lake, Lac Itomamo. If you need additional fuel, we can provide it at a rate of $/liter.
Each guest is responsible for:
- Their propeller, shaft, and motor
- Leaving the rowboat clean upon departure (a $20 cleaning fee will apply if needed)
- Keeping rowboats on the small lakes clean for the next guests. Due to the vast size of the territory, we are unable to inspect the boats between each group
- IMPORTANT: Respect the discharge limits of the Rivière aux Sables: never go beyond the limits marked by the yellow buoys and signs.
- Respect the safety rules provided and presented by Pourvoirie Homamo. If you are staying in a remote cabin, you must check in once per day by radio with reception.
- Respect the designated smoking areas. Pourvoirie Homamo is a smoke-free environment and all cabins are non-smoking.
Fish cleaning service:
- We offer fish cleaning for $1 per trout. To help study fish populations in our lakes, you must record daily weights and catches in the logbook located in the fish shack. You may use the coolers provided there. Please keep the area clean.
VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT GO BEYOND THE SIGN OR MARKER TOWARD THE BRIDGE AT RIVIÈRE AUX SABLES. Fishing in Lac Lamantin is strictly prohibited.
